About the Journal

The International Journal of Language and Cultural Linguistics (IJLCL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to advance knowledge and foster critical discussions in the fields of language, culture, and linguistics. IJLCL seeks to provide a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share original and innovative research that explores the intricate relationships between language practices and cultural phenomena across diverse contexts.

This journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches and welcomes contributions that address theoretical, descriptive, and applied aspects of linguistics, sociolinguistics, language education, discourse analysis, pragmatics, semiotics, translation studies, and intercultural communication. Studies highlighting the role of language in shaping cultural identities, social interactions, and power relations are particularly encouraged.

IJLCL publishes high-quality empirical and conceptual papers, and critical commentaries from a global perspective. It invites submissions that contribute to a deeper understanding of how language functions within and across cultural boundaries, promoting dialogue between local and international academic communities.
